Congratulations to Women Want Adventure for achieving Ecotourism Tourism certification for their Women’s Day and Multi-Day Hiking Trips and Women’s Day and Multi-Day Kayaking Trips!
Identifying the need for outdoor adventures specifically for women, Monique Farmer, CEO and Founder of Women Want Adventure began many conversations with others wanting the same experiences. Monique saw the need to inspire, empower and connect women through outdoor adventure.
Women Want Adventure focus on women who want to try something different and connect to a community to meet others who enjoy outdoor activities. Adventures are for women who believe in spending more time outdoors together.
Through their minimal impact camping and walking, the Women Want Adventure team ensure both the prosperity of the natural environment in which they operate and an authentic Australian experience for their guests.
Their certified tours take women to various destinations within Australia, including Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania. Women Want Adventure also run tours to international destinations such as New Zealand and Spain.
Trips cater for a wide range of fitness and experience levels, from women who have never been hiking before to women who have extensive experience in the outdoors. It’s this diversity of women with different needs, desires and goals which makes Women Want Adventure appealing and rewarding. Women Want Adventure even have a Bubs Want Adventure community for mothers and their little ones to hike outside together and feel inspired by the outdoors, meaning it’s not just the women who benefit, but the next generation as well!
Welcome to the Ecotourism Australia community, Women Want Adventure.
