The survey aims to gather information about the impacts of COVID-19 on the tourism sector in the pan-European Region and indentify potential pathways towards more sustainable and resilient tourism in the future. The survey addresses sustainability of tourism with focus on environmental issues of global importance

Analysis of survey results in an policy recommendations to address key issues to be identified through this survey will inform United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) member states for their preparation of the ‘Environment for Europe’ Ministerial Conference to be held in Cyprus in October 2022
