The GSTC has partnered with the Vocational Skills Development Program of Swisscontact (the Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation) the Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute (MRTI) and Thant Myanmar to jointly organize the second Forum on Sustainability in Tourism & Hospitality, which was held at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon on the 4th and 5th of September 2018.
Exactly six months ago a small group of eco/sustainable tourism practitioners, including most of the directors of the Global Ecotourism Network, sat around a small table at the Georgia’s stand at ITB Berlin to discuss organising the 5th European Ecotourism Conference in Tbilisi.
From October 25th to 28th, Fundación Travolution Internacional will host the first Central American Community- Based Tourism Event (ECATC), taking place in San Cristóbal El Alto, Guatemala.
The aim of the event is to gather entrepreneurs and leaders of community tourism in Central America, travel agencies, tour operators and representatives of academic, public and private sector.
